Are You Drinking Enough Water? Simple Hydration Rules for Fitness

Even mild dehydration can reduce strength, endurance and focus. If you train hard, especially in Indian summers, hydration deserves as much attention as your diet.
Easy hydration habits
Aim for 3–4 litres of water a day (more on hot days or heavy training days).
Drink 500 ml right after waking up.
Sip water during your workout instead of gulping at the end.
Check your urine colour – pale yellow means you are well hydrated.
Add a pinch of salt or have coconut water after long, sweaty sessions.
Hydration equals performance. Keep a bottle with you all day and you will notice the difference in your workouts.
